Tapioca Manchurian
Tapioca Manchurian is an Indian Chinese fried Tapioca food item. It is a fusion recipe. Tapioca Manchurian is the result of the adaptation of Chinese cooking and seasoning techniques to suit Indian tastes. The Chinese sauce mixed with Tapioca balls gives Fantastic taste. this is my own recipe. i tried for the first time and came out well in the taste.

Ingredients
  • Boiled Tapioca 1 cup –
  • chopped onion 1/2 no. –
  • carrot 1/2 no. –
  • capsicum 1/2 no. –
  • spring onion 4 tsp –
  • beans 2 no. –
  • Green chili 1 no. –
  • Ginger : small piece –
  • Garlic : 3 pods –
  • Salt to taste –
  • Red chili powder : 1 tsp –
  • Garam Masala : 1 tsp –
  • amchur powder 1/2 tsp –
  • Maida : 1/2 cup –
  • Corn flour 1/2 cup –
  • Red chili sauce 1 tsp –
  • Soya sauce : 1 tsp –
  • Tomato sauce : 2 tsp –
  • Ajinomoto 1 pinch –
  • Oil to deep fry –
Instructions
  1. Mash the boiled tapioca and add red chili powder, amchur powder, garam masala, salt, maida, corn flour
  2. In a frying pan fry the ginger garlic green chili and onion for 2 mins
  3. add chopped beans and carrot and cook it for 3 mins
  4. transfer to mashed tapioca
  5. mix well
  6. heat the oil and fry the tapioca mixture into small balls
  7. heat the oil fry the ginger garlic and green chili
  8. add onion and capsicum and cook for 2 mins
  9. add spring onion, soya sauce, red chili sauce, tomato sauce, ajinomoto and little water and mix it
  10. add tapioca balls and mix it
  11. Tapioca Manchurian is ready
