Thari Kanji
Semolina/rava is roasted in ghee to make a smooth kanji with coconut milk

  1. For preparing thari kanji, heat 1 tbsp ghee and add rava to it and stir it on low heat for some time.
  2. Add 2 1/2 cups of coconut milk to it and cook it well.
  3. When the rava is cooked well, then add the remaining coconut milk and boil it well.
  4. Fry small onions in 1 tbsp of ghee and put it in the cooked kanji.
  5. Do not make the kanji too thick. It should be made like a smoothy drink .
  6. Thari kanji is ready. Serve for fasting people so that they can gain the energy back.
