Thenga Varutharacha Meen Curry
Its a spicy and yummy fish curry

  1. Heat a pan and add oil to it
  2. Add coconut and stir well
  3. When its started becoming brown, add coriander seeds
  4. Stir well and add curry leaves and shallots .
  5. Mix it well and add red chilly flakes ,turmeric powder and chilly powder .
  6. When its roasted well, off the flame
  7. When its cooked add it in a blender
  8. Grind it well
  9. Heat a kadai and add oil to it
  10. Then add onion ,ginger ,tomato, garlic and stir well.
  11. When its brown
  12. Add the grinded mixture to it
  13. Add some water and black kokum to it and mix well
  14. Add chilly powder to it ,if you need more spice.
  15. When it boils add the fish to it
  16. Close the kadai and keep in low flame.
  17. Meanwhile heat a pan and add oil to it ,when it is hot add mustard and when it splutters add curry leaves and shallot to it .sauté it well and off the flame.
  18. When the fish gets cooked well add the mustard mix to it
  19. Then serve hot
