  1. For preparing thick coconut mussel curry, heat oil in a vessel and saute onions, green chillies, ginger-garlic paste, salt and curry leaves till it becomes transparent.
  2. Add in the mussels and tamarind paste. Allow it to cook.
  3. In a bowl mix in coconut milk powder with a little water to make a thick lump free paste.
  4. Once the mussels are done, pour in the coconut paste and mix well.
  5. Allow it to simmer till the gravy becomes thick.
  6. Thick coconut mussel curry is ready. Serve hot.
