Ingredients
  • Tofu(1 lb) – 455g
  • Tomato 2nos
  • Onion(big) – 1no
  • Garlic pods – 4nos
  • Ginger 1inch
  • Chilly powder – 1 1/2tsp
  • Green chillies 2pieces
  • Cinnamon(Karugapatta) – 1small
  • Cloves(Grambu) –
  • Ani seeds(Perinjeerakam) – 1tsp
  • Grated Coconut 2tbsp
  • Oil(As reqd) –
  • Coriander leaves –
Instructions
  1. Heat oil in a pan or a kadai.
  2. Add the masala items (Clove, Cinnamon, Ani seeds).
  3. Add coarsly ground ginger and garlic.
  4. Add onion and fry till it becomes golden brown.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes.
  6. Fry the contents for 10 mins on low flame, till the ingredients become thick.
  7. Add salt.
  8. Add the shredded tofu and coconut. Mix it well and keep for 5 mins on low flame.
  9. Garnish well with coriander leaves.
  10. :- Serve hot with chappathi, phulkas
  11. :- Optional – We can add fried cashews for garnishing.
