  • Black gram(Uzhunnuparippu) – 2glass
  • Onion(cut into small pieces, big) – 1no
  • Salt(As reqd) –
  • Green chillies(cut into small pieces) – 2nos
  • Pepper – 1tsp
  • Curry leaves(cut into small pieces) –
  • Ginger(cut into small pieces) – 1″piece
  • Soda powder – 1/4tsp
  1. 1)Soak the dal in water for some time.2)Grind it with 1/4 cup of water.:- It would be better if u don`t add water.3)Add salt and grind again.4)Add the rest of the ingredients to this ground dal and mix well.5)Pat hands with water.6)Make balls off the paste and make patties.7)Make a hole in between the Uzhunnu Vada patties.8)Deep fry Uzhunnu Vada in oil till golden brown in colour.:- Serve Uzhunnu Vada/Minapappu vada/Uddina vade/Ulundhu vadai hot with chutney or sambhar.
