  • garlic(finely chopped) - 1 clove
  • Red chilly(finely chopped) - 1 no
  • Lemon grass(finely chopped) - 5cm
  • Beef stock - 2/3 cup
  • Fish sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Granulated sugar - 2 tsp
  • Lime juice - 1/2 lemon
  • Peanuts(roasted) - 50 g
  • Spring onions(finely chopped) - 2 springs
  • Mandarin zest(shredded) - 1 no

Instructions
  1. For preparing vietnam beef, heat the oil in a vessel.
  2. Add the beef, ginger, garlic, chilly and lemon grass. Allow it to cook.
  3. Then add the beef stock, fish sauce, sugar, salt and lemon juice. Cover the vessel and allow it to simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Garnish with roasted peanuts, spring onions and the zest of mandarin.
  5. Vietnam beef is ready. Serve hot with rice.
