Instructions
  1. For preparing vishu rice sweet, take a grinder and grind the grated coconut with a little water. Strain it and keep it aside.
  2. Cook the raw rice with 4 cups of coconut milk and salt.
  3. When it is done, add the leftover 1 cup of coconut milk, cardamom and sugar. Allow it to cook till it becomes thick. . 4)Remove it from the flame.
  4. Take another vessel and heat ghee in it.
  5. Fry the cashewnuts and raisins separately.
  6. Add this into the rice mixture and mix well.
  7. Grease a flat vessel with ghee or oil and pour the rice mixture into it.
  8. Allow it to cool.
  9. Vishu rice sweet is ready. Cut it in cubes and serve cold.
