1/2 Cup Almonds Badam Milk 4 tbsp Sugar 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder 3 Nos. Shallots Chopped 1 pinch Salt 1 tbsp Ghee
Soak almonds overnight and peel it. Keep 4-5 almonds aside and chop them. Grind the remaining almonds into a smooth paste with 1/4 cup of water.
Heat ghee in a sause pan.
Add chopped almonds and shallots. Sauté for few seconds.
When the almond and shallots turn light brown in color, pour milk.
Add sugar, cardamom powder and a pinch of salt.
Then add ground almond. Stir in the ground almond mixture into the milk.
Stir well and simmer for 4 to 5 minutes until really bubbly and frothy. Add extra sugar or flavorings if you want.
Cool down or chill the milk in the refrigerator for few hours and serve.
