Pressure cook the beef by adding pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt as required.
Heat oil in a pan and add sliced onion, chopped green chilly and crushed ginger garlic.
Sauté until the onion turns soft.
Add all masala powders. Sauté for one minute on medium flame to get rid of the raw smell of the masala powders.
Add cooked and shredded beef and combine well.
Take a bowl and add maida, salt and water as required to make a smooth batter.
Another bowl whisk one egg with 1/4 tsp pepper powder and with a little salt. This is as egg wash for the beef pockets.
Pour half portion of egg mixture into maida batter and combine well.
Heat a non-stick pan and pour a small ladle of batter in the center of the hot pan and spread it to form a circle. Keep the flame low. Place the beef filling on its center.
Fold four sides to make a box like shown in the image.
Egg wash both sides of beef pockets and cook both sides until light brown in color.
