Clean, wash and drain the beef pieces. Keep this aside.
Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the spices: red chilly powder, coriander powder, garam masala and pepper powder.
Keep stirring and cook in low flame until the color changes into nice brown. Take care and do not burn the spices.
Then add sliced onion and crushed ginger garlic.
Mix well and add the diced potatoes.
Add tomato paste.
Add sliced green chilly.
Add turmeric powder and salt as required.
Add the beef pieces and stir.
Add chopped coriander leaves.
Mix well and pour 3/4 cup water. Pressure cook for 5-6 whistles or until fully cooked.
After releasing the pressure, open the lid and combine well.
Serve Beef Pot Roast along with Puttu, Chappathi etc.
