Beef Varattiyadhu | Beef Roast

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 Kg Beef
  • 1 Tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 Tbsp Red chilly powder
  • 2 Tbsp Coriander powder
  • 1 Cup Shallots
  • 1 Tsp Ginger chopped
  • 1 Tsp Garlic chopped
  • 2 Tbsp Green chilly chopped
  • 1 Tsp Garam masala
  • Curry leaves One hand full
  • Oil For frying
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • In a pressure cooker add the meat, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook for 4-5 whistles or until done. Open the lid, keep the flame high and allow to dry if there is water.
  • Shallow fry in oil.
  • Heat oil in a pan and saute shallots in it for 5 minutes.
  • Add the remaining ingredients: chopped ginger and garlic, green chilly, curry leaves and saute again another 5 more minutes.
  • Add cooked meat and combine well for a minute.
  • Hot spicy beef roast is ready to serve
