In a pressure cooker add the meat, chilly powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook for 4-5 whistles or until done. Open the lid, keep the flame high and allow to dry if there is water.
Shallow fry in oil.
Heat oil in a pan and saute shallots in it for 5 minutes.
Add the remaining ingredients: chopped ginger and garlic, green chilly, curry leaves and saute again another 5 more minutes.
