Instructions
For preparing brown rice, fry the onions till they turn light brown in color
Add bay leaves, cardamoms, cloves, cinnamon, peppercorns and cumin seeds. Continue frying till the onions turn dark brown.
Add the rice along with the salt and stir for a minute.
Pour in enough water for the rice to cook.
Brown rice is ready. Serve hot with any vegetable or meat dish.
