For preparing the healthy delicious dish, first add half of the green chilly pieces to tamarind paste and cook on low flame until it becomes thick. Keep this aside.
Meanwhile, cook the rice and take the cooked rice into a wide plate.
Add turmeric powder and 2 tbsp of oil and mix well until entire rice becomes uniform yellow.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Add cashew nuts, Bengal gram, remaining green chilly pieces, red chillies, chopped ginger, mustard seeds and curry leaves and fry.
Add the above ingredients and salt to the rice.
Add the tamarind paste along with the green chilli pieces into the rice. Mix well.
Add lime juice if required.
The tasty rice dish is ready. Serve hot with chutney or any spicy curry dish.
