Coconut Vada

Vadas made with coconut, rice flour and chillies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Grated coconut
  • 1/4 cup Rice flour
  • 8 nos Green chillies
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • Salt As reqd
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • Mix together grated coconut with rice flour without adding water.
  • Add the garlic-green chillies paste.
  • Add salt to taste.
  • Heat the oil in a kadai or a pan.
  • Make small portions off the dough and shape them into vadas.
  • Deep fry them till they are golden brown.
  • :- Serve with ginger chutney.
