Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add sliced onion.
When the onion starts to turn pink, add crushed ginger and garlic. Sauté for few seconds.
Then add all masala powders: coriander powder, chilly powder, pepper powder and chicken masala. Sauté for one minute to rid of the raw smell of the masala.
Now add chopped tomato and green chilly.
When the tomatoes are soft, add cleaned chicken, turmeric powder and salt as required.
Mix well. Pressure cook for 2 whistles or until done.
When the pressure releases, open the lid and add the cream.
Combine well, add curry leaves and coriander leaves and cook for 1 to 2 minutes and remove from flame.
Serve along with chapati, ghee rice etc..
