Easy And Yummy Kara Kolambu
A mouth watering dish for those who like the taste of tamarind

- 5 nos Brinjal cut in to cubes
- 100 g Shallots peeled, kunjulli
- 3 cloves Garlic crushed
- 2 nos Tomatoes chopped
- 1 tsp Chilly powder
- Turmeric Powder A pinch
- 1 tsp Sambar powder
- Tamarind A small ball, puli
- Curry Leaves Few
- Mustard seeds Few
Take some oil in a kadai and add mustard seeds. After it splutters, add some curry leaves.
Add peeled small onions, brinjal and garlic. Saute them till onion and garlic is getting cooked.
Add some chopped tomatoes, a pinch of turmeric powder, chilly powder and sambar powder.
Keep continuously stirring.
Add some water to the tamarind and squeeze the pulp. Add this pulp to the curry and continue stirring.
Boil this mixture properly and serve hot with rice.
