Beat the eggs using a hand held electric mixer in a large bowl.
:- Use glass bowl for more soft cake.
Add sugar, butter, ghee and milk maid and mix at the lowest speed again for a few mins.
Mix together maida, baking powder and salt.
Add this little by little to the bowl and mix at a medium speed for at least 15 mins.
Add essence, lemon juice and cardamom and mix for 1 more min.
Take 1/3 of the batter into a separate bowl and add cocoa powder to the batter and mix with a spoon.
Preheat oven to 350 degree F (180 degree Celsius).
Pour 5 - 6 spoons of the plain batter into a greased baking tray as a layer.
Add the 3 - 4 spoons of batter mixed with cocoa powder on the sides and on the top of the layer.
Pour the remaining plain batter to the tray.
On the top add the rest of the batter mixed with cocoa powder.
Move a fork in zig-zag way on the top of the batter.
Bake in oven for 40 - 45 mins(or till light brown) at 350 degree F(180 degree Celsius).
Prick with a sharp knife and it should come out clean, if done.
Cut the marble cake with a sharp knife and serve.
