Green gram / pachhai payuru also well known as whole moong dal or mung bean, This bean is rich in Iron and protein, so this healthy recipe helps you to get Iron and protein in your regular diet and lowers blood pressure. this we can serve as paniyarm

green gram 100 gram Idly rice 1 cup urad dal 1/4 cup onion 2 no. Ginger 1 small piece green chili 3 no. cumin seed 1/2 tsp curry leaves 1/4 cup salt to taste asfoetida 1 tsp oil as required
soak the green gram, urad dal and idly rice in water for 3 hours
In a blender add ginger, green chili and one onion and make paste
add soaked rice, urad dal and green gram in blender and grind it and make as a battter
add salt and asafoetida and mix it
add finely chopped onion and curry leaves and mix it
heat the paniyaram kadai with 2 tsp of oil each and add the batter and allow to cook
turn the side and again apply oil and allow to cook for 5 mins in medium flame
now green gram paniyaram is ready to serve
