Healthy Thandu Keerai Poriyal

It is a healthy and tasty recipe in south india.It isvery simple to make.My family members likes a lot this poriyal.This poriyal is a healthy and tasty side dish for curd rice andSambhar rice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Thandu keerai washed and cleaned
  • 2 tsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 Onion
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup Grated coconut
  • 1 tsp Chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 4 Red chili

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a kadai and add mustard,when it splutters add toor dal and red chili saute for a minute
  • Add thandu keerai to this kadai and saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add grated coconut to this.
  • Add chili powder and turmeric powder saute for 2 minutes .Now Thandu keerai poriyal is ready.
  • Thia thandu keerai poriyal goes well with chapati and rice.
