Wash and soak both the rice and dhals separately in water for atleast 3 hrs.
Grind red chillies, ginger, garlic, asafoetida, onion and rice first. Then add dhals in that and grind well.
Add reqd salt, chopped curry leaves and coriander leaves and stir well.
Make it into a thick batter.
Keep it for atleast one hour to prepare Adai.
For making Adai:-
1)Heat dosa tava and spread oil on it.
Pour a big spoonful of batter over it and make it a round shape.
Pour oil on its edges.
When one side gets cooked and turns brown, turn on the other side and cook well.
Kaara Adai is ready.
:- We can also grind one onion with rice and chop other onion and add to the adai batter.
