- 2 Cup Kachil Cut into cubes
- 1 Cup Grated coconut
- 2 Pinch Salt
- Water as reqd
Take the yam and remove the skin.
Cut into medium sized cubes. Wash thoroughly 4-5 times.
Take a pressure cooker and add yam, salt and water as reqd (approx. 4-5 cups of water). Pressure cook for 2-3 whistles.
When the pressure releases, open the pressure cooker.
Add grated coconut.
Smash it with a spatula. Adjust the consistency by adding hot water.
Serve.
