Kerala Green Peas Coconut Milk Curry is a vegetarian delight that combines the freshness of green peas with the richness of coconut milk, creating a symphony of flavors.
Keep green peas immersed in water, preferably overnight, till soft.
Pressure cook with enough water, turmeric powder and salt. Keep green peas with gravy aside.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add mustard seeds and when they start to splutter, add finely chopped onions, green chillies, curry leaves, chopped coriander leaves and fry, till the onions become brown.
Add chopped tomato and stir well, till the tomato blends.
Add crushed garlic and ginger pieces and stir well.
Add coriander powder, chilly powder, meat masala and stir well, till the aroma of masala comes out.
Add cooked green peas with gravy. Dry water content if it's too much.
Add coconut milk and stir well. Put the vessel in low flame and remove from fire before boiling starts.
Add pepper powder and garam masala and mix well.
Kerala Green Peas Coconut Milk Curry is ready.
