1/2 kg King prawns 1 tbsp Lime juice For Preparing Marinade: 7 nos Shallots 1 tbsp Chilly powder 5 nos Pepper corns 3 nos Green chillies 1 tsp Coriander powder 1 tsp Turmeric 2 tsp Cumin powder 3 cloves Garlic 2 tsp Ginger Chopped Salt As reqd
For preparing spicy prawn/konju fry, grind together all the ingredients for preparing marinade into a paste.
Clean prawns, retain head and tail. Cut in the middle, devein it and flatten the prawns.
Rub the masala on the prawns and keep aside for 1 hour.
Heat a pan, pour oil (2 tbsp) and deep fry the prawns.
Spicy kerala prawn fry is ready. Add the lime juice on top and serve hot.
