Boil the pepper corns by adding 1 cup water for 4-5 minutes.
Once it cools down, grind it to make a paste.
Heat oil in a clay pot and splutter fenugreek seeds.
Add crushed ginger-garlic and curry leaves. Sauté for few seconds.
Add chopped onion and green chilly. Fry until soft and light brown in color.
Now add coriander powder and turmeric powder. Keep the flame low.
Add ground pepper and sauté for 3 minutes.
Then add 1 chopped tomato and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Add 1 cup tamarind water,1 cup hot water and salt as required. Bring it to boil.
Now add cleaned fish and cook until the curry is semi thick on medium flame.
