Lemon Grass Steamed Pomfret

Ingredients
  

  • 2 nos Pomfret Avoli
  • 1/2 cup Lemon grass
  • 5 nos Shallots kunjulli
  • 2 tsp Ginger sliced
  • 4 nos Green chillies sliced
  • 1 no Capsicum sliced
  • 1 tbsp Fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp Oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp Ajino moto
  • Pepper As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing lemon grass steamed pomfret, make slits on cleaned fish.
  • Marinate with oyster sauce, salt and pepper.
  • In a pan, heat butter or mustard oil.
  • Add ginger, shallots, lemon grass, green chillies, capsicum and fry well.
  • Add fish sauce, pepper, salt and ajino moto.
  • Remove from flame.
  • In a foil, spread the fried masala and keep the fish on top.
  • Cover it well and cook in steamer for 25 minutes.
  • Lemon grass steamed pomfret is ready. Serve hot.
