Madhura Kizhangu Mezhukkupuratti, also known as Sweet Potato Stir Fry, is a cherished dish in Kerala cuisine.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Nos. Sweet potato Madhura Kizhangu
  • 2 Pinch Turmeric powder
  • 1-2 Tsp Crushed dried red chilly
  • 1 Tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1/2 Cup Water
  • Curry leaves Few

Instructions
 

  • Cut the sweet potato into medium sized pieces.
  • Add salt, turmeric powder and water into the sweet potato pieces. Pressure cook for 1 whistle.
  • Heat oil in a kadai and splutter mustard seeds.
  • Add curry leaves and crushed chilly. Saute for few seconds.
  • Finally add the cooked sweet potato.
  • Mix this slowly for 4-5 minutes and turn off the flame.
  • Serve it along with a cup of hot black tea.
