Methi Bhakhri

Methi Bhakri is one of the easiest and nutritious of breakfast as well as snack dishes that can be easily prepared at home. Methi Bhakri is actually roti rolled out by combining wheat flour with fenugreek leaves and other ingredients. Methi Bhakri is unique and tasty with a greenish methi flavor and aroma. Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp Gram flour Kadalapodi
  • 1/2 cup Fenugreek leaves finely chopped, Uluva
  • 1 no Green chilly
  • 1/2 tsp Thymol Ajwain/Vaum
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • Oil As reqd
  • Salt As reqd

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Methi Bhakri, mix together wheat flour, gram flour, fenugreek leaves, green chillies, ajwain, salt, curd, 1 tbsp of oil and turmeric powder.
  • Knead them well along with a little water to make a hard dough.
  • Roll them out a little thicker than the usual chappathis.
  • Fry both sides on the griddle by applying little oil or ghee.
  • :- Serve Methi Bhakri with curd.
