Clean the chicken and cut it into medium size pieces.
Heat ghee in a pan.
Fry the cashew nuts, 1 sliced onion, peppercorns, coriander seeds , garlic and green chillies in it.
Fry till all the ingredients are cooked.
Grind together the fried mixture along with ginger in a mixer grinder.
Heat the remaining ghee in the pressure cooker.
Add 1 sliced onion, chopped tomatoes and turmeric powder and fry for 2 mins.
Add the chicken pieces and salt.
Add the ground masala and little water.
Pressure cook it for 10 - 15 mins on a medium-high flame.
:- Serve hot with Jeera rice or hot rotis.
