Mushroom Capsicum Briyani

Ingredients
  

  • Briyani Rice 2 cup
  • Mushroom 1 cup
  • Capsicum 1 cup
  • Onion 2 no.
  • Tomato 2 no.
  • Green Chilli 4 no.
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 3 tsp
  • Coriander Leaves 1/5 cup
  • Mint Leaves 1/5 cup
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • oil As required
  • Ghee 3 tsp
  • Aniseeds 2 no.
  • Cardamom 2 no.
  • Bay leaf 2 no.
  • Clove 3 or 4 no.
  • cinnamon 1

Instructions
 

  • Chop the onion, tomato, capsicum and mushroom
  • In a pressure Cooker, heat the oil and ghee, and temper the bay leaf, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, aniseeds.
  • Add onion and green chilli and saute it until onion turns into brown
  • add tomato, coriander leaves and mint leaves and mix well
  • add ginger garlic paste and mix it
  • add capsicum and mix it
  • add salt, red chilli powder and turmeric powder and mix it
  • now add mushroom and mix well and allow it to cook for 5 mins
  • now add (2 cup rice) 4 cups of water and allow to boil
  • now add rice and keep the flame in medium for 5 mins and close the lid and leave for 1 whistle
  • mushroom capsicum briyani is ready to serve
