Wash and cut the mutton into small pieces. Heat a pressure cooker add coconut oil, when oil is hot add cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom and sauté for few seconds.
Add onion, ginger, garlic, green chilies, salt and curry leaves.
When the onion turns light brown add turmeric powder, chilli powder, coriander powder and sauté until the raw smell goes off.
Add potato. Mix well.
Add mutton. Sauté well. Add crushed pepper and garam masala and sauté for 2-3 minutes.
Then pour the coconut milk to it and stir well.
Add tomato and mix well.check the salt and add more if needed.
When the gravy starts to boil, cover the pressure cooker for 4 whistles on medium heat.
The pressure is fully released open the cover and add some more curry leaves and coriander leaves.
Serve hot with appam, bread, idiyappam.....Enjoy 😎
