Ghee/vegetable oil(optional) for sprinkling over orotty
Instructions
For preparing orotty, grind cooked rice into a fine paste. Keep this aside.
Saute tomato adding a little oil and blend well.
Add onion, green chillies, ginger and curry leaves. Saute slightly.
Mix all the ingredients except ghee and make a dough like that of chapathi.(you can add water if needed)
Make small balls out of this dough. Flatten each ball into small circles and place over tawa and cook.(Sprinkle ghee/vegetable oil if needed).
Orotty is ready. Serve hot.
