Radish Paratha – a stuffed parantha recipe from land of Punjab. It is nothing but a whole bread Indian bread stuffed with sautéed, spiced mooli/radish stuffing.It is a healthy breakfast that can be taken with raita.
• For dough: Mix wheat flour add salt and oil, well.• Then prepare a soft dough by adding warm water to the flour (it should not be stiff but soft...) and keep aside.
For stuffing:• Soak the radish for few min in salt water.
Grate the radish, chop onions and Coriander leaves.
In a pan heat butter add cumin seed and onion and stir it, add radish cook till raw smell goes.
Add all powders and salt and sugar, cook for few mins add Coriander leaves. And keep it aside let to cool.
Take the prepared dough and roll into ball and make small size roll add stuffing and make ball again roll like chapatti or roti.
cook it both sides on a hot tawa over medium flame. Press gently while cooking to get it done evenly browned.
Serve hot with any kind of raitha (boondi raita) or simply with pickle!
