Ramzan is a time of spiritual reflection and celebration, and food plays a significant role in bringing families together. Among the many delicious dishes prepared during this holy month, Mutton Chukka holds a special place.
Add all masala powders given in the ingredients list and salt as required.
Marinate the mutton, add 1/2 cup of water ,mix everything well and pressure cook it for 5 whistle. It may varry depending on your cooker.
Heat oil in a pan and add ginger garlic.
Add shallots and onion, sauté until soft.
Add green chilly and saute for 2 more minutes.
Now add cooked mutton along with the stock(mutton cooked water)
Add salt if needed. Mix and cook until the gravy thickens and masala clings on to the mutton. (You can turn off the stove at any stage of your choice, I prefer to made it dry)and add some coriander leaves.
