For preparing Vada: 1/2 cup Urad dal As reqd Salt 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp Pepper corns 1 no. Onion chopped Few Curry leaves and coriander leaves (chopped) For Preparing Rasam: 2 tbsp Toor dal 2 tsp Tamarind paste 1 no. Tomato As reqd Salt 2 tbsp Rasam powder(You can adjust the spice level as per requirement) 1/4 tsp Mustard seeds Few Curry leaves, Coriander leaves
For Preparing Vadai: Soak and grind urad dal and add required salt, chopped onion, curry leaves and cumin seeds.
Prepare vadas and deep fry in hot boiling oil.
Pour hot rasam over the crispy vadais and serve hot.
