For preparing royalla pachadi, first marinate the cleaned prawns in the given ingredients. Then, fry prawns in oil till they turn brown in colour and keep aside.
Heat the same oil and stir in fried prawns, red chilly powder, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, poppy seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and salt for 15 min. Remove it from the flame.
Add tamarind paste, garam masala and mustard powder. Mix well.
