- 400 Grams Prawns Shelled and deveined
- Oil For deep frying
For Preparing Marinade:
- 1 No Egg Beaten
- 1 Cup Corn flour
- 2 Tsp White pepper powder
- 1 1/2 Tsp Sugar
- Salt To taste
For Preparing Schezwan Sauce:
- 2 Tbsp Garlic Chopped
- 2 Tbsp Spring onions Chopped
- 1 & 3 Medium Onion & Green chilli Chopped
- 1 Cup Water
Ingredients Mixed In Bowl:
- 3 Tbsp Schezwan sauce
- 1 Tsp Sugar
- 2 Tbsp Tomato sauce
- 1 Tbsp Vinegar
- 1 Tsp White Pepper
- Salt To taste
For Garnishing:
- 1 Tsp White Sesame seed For garnish
- Spring onion
Combine all the ingredients for preparing marinade in a bowl, add prawns in it and marinate for 30 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the prawns till golden brown. Keep aside.
Heat oil in another pan add garlic, spring onion and onion. Sauté well on high heat for 30 seconds.
After a minute add the fried prawns and mix well. Bring to a boil.
Meanwhile mix the cornflour with 2 tbsp of water. When the gravy starts to boil, add the cornflour mixture and mix well.
Add the ingredients mixed in the bowl, sauté for 30 seconds and add 1 cup hot water into it.
When the gravy starts to thicken, switch off the heat.
Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with white sesame seeds and chopped spring onion.
Serve hot with butter rice, naan, chapati etc....
