Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Soya chunks
  • 2 nos Onion big
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 4 big Garlic cloves
  • 2 - Green chillies
  • Curry leaves A few
  • 1/2 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Garam masala powder
  • 3 nos Potato boiled, medium
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • Bread crumbs As reqd
  • 1 - Egg
  • Oil for frying

Instructions
 

  • For preparing Soya Chunk Cutlet, first soak soya chunks in hot water for 20 - 30 mins.
  • Drain and squeeze out excess water.
  • Mince it in a mixie.
  • Chop onion, ginger, garlic, green chillies and curry leaves into fine pieces and saute` in 2 tbsp of oil.
  • When it is light brown in colour, add salt, coriander powder and chilli powder and saute.
  • Add the minced soya chunks and saute for few more minutes.
  • Sprinkle few drops of water and cover and cook for 5 mins.
  • Add the garam masala powder and mix well.
  • Add the boiled and mashed potato, mix well and remove from fire.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • Make cutlels out of the mix, dip in beaten eggs, roll in bread crumbs and fry in oil till golden brown.
  • :- Serve with tomato ketchup.
  • :- Pure vegetarians can dip the cutlets in maida batter instead of beaten egg.
