For preparing spicy chicken in green gravy, first cut chicken into small pieces and marinate with turmeric powder, pepper powder(2 tsp), salt and lime juice. Keep aside for 2 hrs.
Fry the marinated chicken pieces till crispy and keep aside.
Boil the spinach leaves for 5 minutes and grind it with coriander leaves and mint leaves.
Heat oil in a pan, fry onion, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
Add chilly powder, garam masala, coriander powder and ground spinach leaves.
Saute well and add fried chicken pieces.
Gently add little water and salt.
Cover and cook for some time.
When chicken is cooked, add cream and mix well. Simmer the flame.
Finish it by sprinkling pepper powder and remove from flame.
Serve hot with chapathi. Spicy chicken in green gravy, a yummy favorite, is ready.
