Tangy Egg

Eggs cooked in tomato base

Ingredients
  

  • 3 nos Eggs
  • 2 nos Onions chopped
  • 1 no Tomato cut into small pieces
  • 1 1/2 tsp Corinader powder
  • 1/2 tsp Chilly powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp Crushed pepper
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tsp Tomato sauce
  • 3 - Curry leaves
  • 1 tbsp Oil
  • 2 tbsp Water

Instructions
 

  • Beat the eggs and keep aside.
  • Heat oil in a pan.
  • Add onion and saute, till light brown.
  • Add coriander powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder.
  • Mix well, till the raw smell goes.
  • Saute tomatoes, till the oil separates.
  • Add salt, curry leaves and tomato sauce and water.
  • Allow the gravy to thicken.
  • Add the beaten eggs and let it get cooked.
  • :- It will be like scrambled eggs.
  • Sprinkle crushed pepper.
  • :- Serve hot with chappathis or bread.
  • :- Can make the same using green chillies, garlic and ginger. Then, there is no need to use tomato sauce and pepper.
