Traditional Kappa Biriyani

Ingredients
  

  • Beef : ½ k gm
  • Tapioca (kappa) : 1 cup
  • Onion : 3 nos
  • Mustard : 1 tsp
  • Garlic : 8 cloves
  • Ginger : 2 inch piece
  • Curry leaves : 1 spring
  • Green chilly : 1 or 2 nos
  • Cumin seeds : 1 tsp
  • Chilly powder : 2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • Garam masala : 1 tsp
  • Coriander powder : 1 tsp
  • Salt : to taste
  • Oil : as needed

Instructions
 

  • Cook kappa using salt and turmeric powder.
  • Cook beef using salt and turmeric powder.
  • When it gets cooked, heat a pan add oil and when its hot add mustard to it and when it splutters add curry leaves .
  • Saute it well and then add onion to it and stir well.
  • Then add ginger, garlic, green chilly and cumin seeds to it.
  • Saute it well until it gets brown.
  • Then add the cooked beef to it .
  • Stir well and add the chilly powder ,coriander powder and garam masala to it.
  • Stir well.
  • Then add little water to it and close pan for 3 minutes.
  • Then add the cooked kappa to it .

  • Stir well.
  • Mix it well and cook for 5 more minutes then serve hot, its really tasty.
