Vermicelli Upma

Upma with vermicelli and vegetables

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups Vermicelli
  • 1 no Onion
  • 4 nos Green Chilies Cut into small pices
  • 1 piece Ginger
  • 2 nos Red chilies Kollamulaku
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • Curry leaves Few
  • Salt As reqd
  • 2 tsp Coconut oil
  • 10 no Beans cut into small pieces
  • 2 nos Carrot cut into small pieces
  • Peas A handful

Instructions
 

  • Fry the vermicelli in a heated kadai until golden brown, keep it aside.
  • Heat another pan. Add enough water for boiling vermicelli and let the water boil.
  • Add some salt to the water and add the vermicelli and stir it continuously. Keep it aside.
  • Heat oil in another pan, splutter mustard seeds, add whole red chilies, onion, ginger, green chillies and curry leaves to it.
  • Add beans, carrot, cooked peas,required salt, sautT it for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the above prepared vermicelli to the vegitable mix and stir it continuously.
  • Vermicelli upma is ready.
