Roast the gram flour in a pan till it gets golden brown. Keep this aside.
Chop onions, tomatoes and garlic into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan.
Add all the seasoning ingredients. When they splutter, add chillies, curry leaves, garlic and turmeric powder.
Add onions, tomatoes and garlic. Fry for a few minutes.
Lastly, add besan, chilly powder, salt and little water. Stir continuously with no lumps. Sprinkle some water, stir and cook covered for 2 minutes. open the lid and stir. Serve hot.
Garnish with coriander leaves.
