Step 1

For preparing beetroot and carrot mezhukkuperatti, wash and cut beetroot and carrot in small square shape.

Step 2

Add turmeric powder, salt, red chilly powder and mix well.

Step 3

Fry mustard seeds and red chillies in coconut oil.
Add the beetroot and carrot.

Step 4

Add asafoetida and then close the pan and cook for 10 minutes.
