Easy 4 ways to make bread sandwich

To prepare the stuffing:-

Peel and mash the boiled potatoes and keep aside.

Soak the dry peas overnight. Drain and add fresh water. Cook till it turns very soft.

Heat oil in a pan. Splutter mustard seeds and cumin seeds.

Add chopped onion, chopped green chilli, curry leaves and fry till it turns a little golden in colour.

Add chilli-ginger paste and saute.

Add boiled green peas. Mix well.

Add turmeric powder, salt and mashed potatoes. Mix well and cook for a couple of minutes.

Add 2 tbsp of water and cook to get semi soft consistency curry.

Add chat masala and chopped coriander leaves. Mix properly and keep it aside to cool down.

To prepare variuous sandwiches, you'd again require:-

Butter - As reqd

Green chutney - As reqd

First method:-

Apply butter on one side of the bread slice. Apply green chutney on the top.

Apply a thick layer of potato stuffing uniformly over the bread.

Step 17

Apply butter on the tawa and place the bread slice and slightly press the sandwich while roasting so that the masala sticks to the sandwich. Fry till both sides of the bread slice become crispy.

Apply butter one side of the bread slice.

Apply green chutney and arrange sliced vegetables like onion, tomato, capsicum and carrot. And serve. There is no need to toast/grill.

After spreading the green masala on the bread, cover it with another bread.

Pour some slightly beaten curd with sugar on the top.

Put some pepper powder or chaat masala over it and serve it as Curd sandwich.

Take a slice of bread and dip into the water and squeeze.

Fill the above potato-peas mixture on one side of the bread slice and fold with the other side.

Deep fry.

:- Serve with tomato sauce.
