Step 1

For preparing easy papaya halwa, blend papaya along with a little sugar and grind to a fine paste. Keep the pulp aside.

Step 2

In a bowl, mix rice powder and salt with a little water avoiding lumps.

Step 3

Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a vessel and fry the cashew nuts. Remove and keep it aside separately.

Step 4

In the same vessel, add the papaya pulp and sautT it for 2 minutes on low flame.

Step 5

Add in sugar and mix it well.

Step 6

Then add ghee slowly and stirring it continuously.

Step 7

Mix in the rice powder and stir it continuously.

Step 8

Allow it to become thick like halwa and starts leaving the sides of the vessel.

Step 9

Toss in the fried cashew nuts and cardamom powder. Mix it well, transfer it to a greased plate and level it. Allow it to cool in room temperature.

Step 10

Easy papaya halwa is ready.
