Mexican Style dish - little indianised :))

Step 1

Mix the Taco Mix, vinegar, soya sauce, chili powder, garlic and salt(as req.).

Step 2

Marinate for 30 mins, or refrigerate for several hours.

Step 3

Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan over high heat.

Step 4

Add chicken strips to the pan and saute for 5 mins.

Step 5

Add the onion and capsicums, jalapeno pepper and saute another 5 mins.

Step 6

Add the maida (diluted in little water), the sour creme and salt as required.

Step 7

Add little taco mix to the gravy.

Step 8

Boil it until you get a thick gravy consistency. Remove from fire.

Step 9

Take a grilling tray and place one tortilla in it.

Step 10

Take some from the above mix, (also some shredded cheese) and place in it.

Step 11

Roll it covering both sides.

Step 12

Repeat the same with all the other tortillas.

Step 13

Sprinkle some shredded cheese and salsa sauce above all the rolled tortillas.

Step 14

Pour the remaining gravy on it.

Step 15

Heat in the oven/grill for 30 mins at 180 degrees.

Step 16

:- Serve hot with salads (cherry tomatoes, fresh leaves, baby carrots)

Step 17

:- You can also serve avocado chutney on the side.
