Step 1

Clean, wash and make slits on the fish.

Step 2

Marinate fish with all the ingredients and keep it for at least 1 hour.

Step 3

After 1 hour, arrange the marinated fish on a baking tray and grill it for 25 minutes.

Step 4

After 25 minutes, take the tray out and flip the fish so that the other side also get cooked well.

Step 5

Keep it back in the oven and again grill for 15 to 20 minutes. The time may vary depending upon the type of oven or the size of the fish.

Notes :

You can use any other fish like pearl spot / king fish / pomfret or even sardine or mackerel.

You can prepare the marinade according to your taste and creativity.

If you like the taste, you can add little tandoori masala along with the marinade or you can marinate the fish only with tandoori masala to make tandoori fish.

It is better to keep the marinated fish in the refrigerator over night or atleast for 2 hours before you grill it.
