Step 1

Cut the potatoes into one inch long pieces.

Step 2

Add chilly powder, turmeric powder and salt to the sliced potatoes and keep for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Heat oil in a pan. (Preferably nonstick pan with wide base so that we can reduce the amount of oil needed)

Step 4

When the oil is hot, add the curry leaves and the sliced onion.

Step 5

When the onion is half cooked, add the marinated potatoes into the pan.

Step 6

Stir in between so that it wont stick to the pan.

Step 7

Cook in medium heat until the potatoes become crispy.

Step 8

:- Do not add water while cooking.

Step 9

:- Very good combination with rice and kachiya moru.


Easy to make recipe... turned out very well..
