For preparing Mudakathan Rasam, first rinse the leaves and saute it for a minute.

Add water and cook it.

Add turmeric and salt.

In a mixer jar crush cumin, pepper, tomatoes, curry leafs and garlic.

Add this mixture to the boiling leaves.

Add tamarind water and let it boil.

Finally add the seasonings: curry leaves, red chili, hing, and mustard seeds to the Mudakathan Rasam and serve.
